The Flag House........... Het Vlaggenhuisje

The last block is finished!!!
The British flag was fun to do, although a bit fiddly, and of course not like the pattern. The sun looks a bit strange, but he is missing his sunbeams. I can't put them on until all the blocks are together.

But look and see what else I did this afternoon?

And here another corner of three blocks together...

Later on I shall applique sunbeams and stars. Strange really, all in the same quilt..! But then, in quilts everything is possible. The cars have to wait until the road has been sewn on. And I have to go to the quiltshop tomorrow to buy fabric for that..!
The weather has been beautiful here the last few days, so my dearest and I went to some farms. (my husband's hobby is filming agriculture)..

It was lovely to walk in the fields again... and I could not resist taking this photo. She was really posing..!

To work now on the sunbeams!
Tomorrow I shall go blog-hopping, and see what you have all been up to.
Have a nice day.

groetjes,
Jane

Wow, that flag DOES look fiddly, but the results are fabulous! You are really crusing on this, and your colors look so yummy when you show bits put together!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)

WOW the flag is wonderful!! You have gotten the body of this quilt done sooooo quickly!! Some day I will get to mine LOL.

We are harvesting around here too and since we live a couple of houses away from the farm equipment shop, we have a lot of tractors and combines rumbling past the house. Interesting looking cow, we mostly have Holsteins around here.

Your quilt and blocks are just wonderful...what a lot of work you have done on them. I love seeing your handwork, but I really love it when you take the camera outside so I can see your surroundings. What a beautiful photo of the field with those hills in the background. You live in such a beautiful part of the world and it is nice to picture you there.

Hi Jane,
