I love quilts, especially antique quilts, either applique or pieced, and I want to share my journeys in quilting ! But, my "Threads and Treasures" sometimes include embroidery, painting, or spinning wool and weaving.
It is great that you are visiting, and I hope you feel at home here. I would love it if you left a comment.

Do you remember Grimm's fairytale about the table that set itself with lots of delicious food?
I don't know if it will work with this table...I have a feeling that I have to do it myself....;o)
There are only two lovely golden russet apples to put on it....
And also an enormous vase with lots of berries, but I have not made them yet.. In the meantime I can look at this beautiful Amaryllis, with 4 flowers already, and at least 4 more buds...
Hello, welcome to my blog! My name is Jane. I was born in Holland, but have been in Britain for more than 30 years.
I am a Christian, and love Biblestudy, reading, writing, painting, quilting, embroidery, spinning, weaving, gardening and classical music, especially J.S.Bach. And I fell in love with sheep when we lived in Scotland and had some sheep of our own! I am married to an Englishman, and have two children.
I hope you will enjoy my blog, and leave a comment!
"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." Job 12:7-10
