I love quilts, especially antique quilts, either applique or pieced, and I want to share my journeys in quilting ! But, my "Threads and Treasures" sometimes include embroidery, painting, or spinning wool and weaving.
It is great that you are visiting, and I hope you feel at home here. I would love it if you left a comment.

En tegen zijn moeder: "I have been WAITING for this quilt!"
Yesterday it was the big day - Josiah got his quilt. it wasn't his birthday yet, but he has been waiting so patiently... While he was tearing the paper off, he called out: "Daddy, this is MY QUILT!!" And then to his mother: "I have been WAITING for this quilt!" He looked at everything full of excitement, and then crept under it, together with his Daddy.
Zijn gelukkige gezichtje sprak boekdelen! En het was elk steekje waard!
His happy face tells everything! And it made every stitch worthwhile!
What have I done this past week? Tried out watercolour again....a ruin of a castle in Scotland, which we visited quite often when we lived there...
...en Midge, mijn schaap in Schotland...
..and Midge, one of my sheep in Scotland...
Last night there was a beautiful sunset, which the camera couldn't handle very well...
...and I am working on Home Sweet Home again. One more block after this, and then that top is finished too.

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." Job 12:7-10
