"Baskets and Lambs......Mandjes en Lammetjes

You all know that I am mad on sheep, lambs...and on Baltimore baskets..:)

I especially like doing the woven baskets.

Heel dichtbij...

A close-up...

We wandelen nog steeds bijna elke dag...

We still walk nearly every day...

I like the shadow of the stone walls.

In de zon ging de sneeuw langzaam weg.

The snow slowly disappeared in the sun.

We ontdekken nieuwe smalle weggetjes

We discover new narrow roads...

A beautiful Welsh Black Mountain sheep stares at us...doesn't she have beautiful lambs?

Ergens in een boom zien we een staartmeesje.

Somewhere in a tree we see a longtailed tit.

En dan wandelen we in de weilanden....

And then we walk in the fields...

De vredige stilte hier is ongelofelijk mooi.

The peaceful silence here is unbelievably beautiful.

Then there is a field full of lambs.

Ik vind dit zo schattig...

I find this so endearing...

And you can see that the mole-catcher has been busy!

Sometimes we have to go shopping, and this is a lovely surprise...

When we look out we notice some interesting clouds forming over the mountains.

En 's avonds gaan we some een eindje rijden.

And in the evening we sometimes go for a ride.

In between things I am revising my Greek...

We also have a lovely new dresser in the kitchen.

Fijne dag!

I want to thank you all for your nice and encouraging comments on my blog!
Enjoy your day!

Jane

what a very pretty place you live at. I love seeing the fields and the sheep (beautiful black sheep)I wish I lived in an area that I could walk by the road but we have a bit too much traffic on ours and big trucks that go past - no shoulder on the road to speak of to walk safely on - I am in the country but I think you are more in the country than I am - love what you show of your kitchen

Love the little lams, especially the black ones. Thank you for sharing your lovely country surroundings.
Just one question - are moles considered vermin in Britain? I always presumed they were protected animals.

Mooie foto`s weer.

Zucht.... zo mooi daar waar jullie wonen....
Groetjes,
Floor

Dear Jane how lovely to walk the fields with you in Spring there, from the daffodils to the new born lambs. how green and peaceful it all looks. When you say we some times go for a ride is that bike or car???? Those clouds rolling down the hills looks threatening or do they disappear as the day grows???? Such a lovely blog jane thanks for sharing it's such a treat to visit with you Hugs Glenda
