I love quilts, especially antique quilts, either applique or pieced, and I want to share my journeys in quilting ! But, my "Threads and Treasures" sometimes include embroidery, painting, or spinning wool and weaving.
It is great that you are visiting, and I hope you feel at home here. I would love it if you left a comment.

As someone who is native Dutch, I wanted to celebrate the new Dutch king in some way, even though I live in Wales. this morning I had to go to the Post Office early, so on the way back I called in at the supermarket, to get some flowers. And they had two bouquets of orange roses...!!!
I have watched it all live on the internet, and it was fantastic. I so enjoyed everything, the abdication, the lovely speech of the new king, with his beautiful new queen next to him, and the princesses. Some of it was quite moving, especially singing the national anthem of course.... So, I have not done much today, just two yellow-orange rosebuds on the flower border.....

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." Job 12:7-10
