I love quilts, especially antique quilts, either applique or pieced, and I want to share my journeys in quilting ! But, my "Threads and Treasures" sometimes include embroidery, painting, or spinning wool and weaving.
It is great that you are visiting, and I hope you feel at home here. I would love it if you left a comment.

Catalina and Nicholas stayed with us over the past days. I put all the blocks on the floor, so that Catalina could see her quilt in progress....
And I had baked a Dutch Appeltaart, which disappeared quickly...!
They brought Rosie......a lovely Border Collie....
While they took her for a long walk, I could sew the first rows together, by hand. So half the blocks are as they should be!
In the meantime spring is here at last! The robin has been singing....
He loves to sit on the handle of the old plough.
Now I can stitch the next two rows together. I wanted to finish all the blocks by mid April, and I think I might achieve it..!! Have a nice day!
Hello, welcome to my blog! My name is Jane. I was born in Holland, but have been in Britain for more than 30 years.
I am a Christian, and love Biblestudy, reading, writing, painting, quilting, embroidery, spinning, weaving, gardening and classical music, especially J.S.Bach. And I fell in love with sheep when we lived in Scotland and had some sheep of our own! I am married to an Englishman, and have two children.
I hope you will enjoy my blog, and leave a comment!

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." Job 12:7-10
