"Keuzes...............Choices...."

First I want to thank you for so many lovely and encouraging comments on 'Catalina's Paradise'!  I have tried to reply to everyone, but some of you are on 'no-reply', and if you have no blog either, I cannot possibly get in touch with you!
And what now? First I take up the thread again with Esther's Love Entwined, because I am a little bit behind on part 5! These flowers I had laid out to see what they would look like....

En de vaas zat ook al vast....

The vase was stitched already....

And of course there had to be a little bird in it...

I also carried on with something old, do you remember? I had finished 6 blocks.

'Home Sweet Home' - Barbara Adams & Alma Allen, "91 Rosebud Terrace"

Actually, it stitches up quite fast, with such large pieces.

De achtergrond is een broderietje..

The background for this block is  very loose woven...

Soon I am stitching the last leaf, everything with ordinary, old-fashioned needleturn. I still have to make 5 little blocks for the house to stand on.

While I am stitching, I look up and see that the cherry tree has turned a beautiful golden yellow.

I must look at this more closely, so I go to my workroom.
A lot of leaves are on the ground after the first frost last night, and it really is autumn now.

Then the sun comes out, and suddenly I see that we have new neighbours opposite.....

Lovely, I can watch sheep every day all around the house....

Fijne dag!

In the meantime I am thinking about the new project - more about that next time......
Have a nice day!

Jane

Jane your stitching on the LE is so perfect and I adore your houses.

Love the photos of the sheep. My mom always tells the story about me wanting a sheep when I was little.....I must have been a strange child. Most kids want a horse....giggle.

Oh Jane so much to see to day, Loved all the photo's taken around you home, how happy you must be having those lovely sheep to look at all day when you glance out your windows. Your views sure remind me of Beatrice Potters books???? So glad to see that you are back working on your houses it must be quiet relaxing after so much intense quilting. To day for the first time I actually hand worked on some small 3/4" log cabins strips and it was so relaxing sitting there in the hospital waiting room after doing only LE for months. Your flowers you have chosen for your next arrangement look so lovely and so glad to see the wee bird is going in some where to. Cheers Glenda Austrlaia

The little houses are lovely and I am looking forward to seeing it all put together.

The broderie perse flowers on your LE are going to be fantastic. Will you embroider all the stems or will they be appliqued as well?

As always your handwork is exquisite. Thank you for sharing!

Groetjes Sylvia.

Gr.Sylvia.
