Het mandje is bijna af...
The basket is nearly finished...
We gaan nog steeds wandelen. Hier is een van mijn favoriete wandelpaadjes.
We still go walking. Here is one of my favourite footpaths.
We krijgen wel bekijks onderweg van de Herdwicks.
The Herdwicks are our audience on the way.
Dit Swaledale schaap wil het ook even goed zien.
This Swaledale sheep wants to get a good look too.
De bergen zien er heel indrukwekkend uit vergeleken met dat huisje.
The mountains look very impressive compared to the house.
En de Sleedoorn bloesem begint te komen.
The Blackthorn is coming into blossom.
En op de heg zit een winterkoninkje naar ons te kijken.
And on the hedge a little wren is looking at us.
Overal beginnen ook wilde bloemen uit te komen.
Everywhere wild flowers are beginning to appear.
Dit is ook een weggetje waar we graag wandelen. We kunnen vanuit ons huis alle kanten op.
This is another road where we love walking. From our house we can walk in all directions.
Een heel nat voetpaadje...
A very wet footpath....
En dan weer lammetjes. Ze beginnen in groepjes te spelen...
Lambs again. They are beginning to form gangs...
Dit is mijn mammie!

Deze twee schapen vinden het prachtig om even te poseren...:)
These two sheep love posing.....:)
En deze denken wel dat ik voer heb meegebracht...:
And these do think that I brought food with me...:)
Nu het mandje van het blok bijna af is, kan ik ook verder met de bloemen... hier zie je ze onder het plastic waar het patroon op staat.
Now the basket of this block is nearly finished, I can do the flowers...here you see them under the plastic overlay.
Het volgende laagje is helemaal klaar voor needleturn...
The next layer is all ready for needleturn...
And in the meantime it was evening again. I can never resist taking a photo of the mountains when they look like this...

Zo leuk deze tijd van het jaar, met al die lammetjes. Die laatste foto, wow, wat een kleuren, wat een ruimte, wat een mooi licht.
With the foot paths and roads looking so inviting I can understand why you walk. Truly beautiful country. Watching the basket block grow is such fun too, it's looking lovely.

The lambs are a constant source of entertainment, aren't they! Any time you get weary of focusing on your needle, you can look to the distance and watch them frolic!

Wat een prachtige mand en wat een klus.
Je woont prachtig, heerlijk om daar nu in deze jaargetijde zo van te genieten
Een prachtige omgeving zeker in het voorjaar kun je daar dubbel van genieten mer al die schaapjes en lammetjes.
Het lijkt mij een mooi maar moeilijk blok om te maken.
